Atherwood's Book Fair will be taking place from May 17th-23rd. Ordering online is also available from May 8th-May 23rd. Please click on the attached link to visit Atherwood's Book Fair Website.

Also, we NEED Volunteers to help work the Book Fair. Available hours are from 8:00-3:30 every day and before Open House from 5:00-6:00. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Kathy at (805) 955-0485. Your help is MUCH appreciated!

May 17th is Atherwood's Open House! DISMISSAL will be 12:55PM for ALL students. The Book Fair will be open from 5:00-6:00PM. There will be a short PTA meeting from 6:00-6:30, then classrooms will be open from 6:30-7:30. Preorder your dinner and sit and relax from 5:00-6:00PM! PLease preorder your dinner no later than May 11th. 100% OF THE PROCEEDS OF THE MEALS WILL GO BACK TO ATHERWOOD TO HELP PURCHASE NEW TECHNOLOGY!

After dinner, Student Council will be selling dessert for $1.00. Student Council will also be kicking off a "For the Troops" donation drive starting at Open House and continuing through May 24th. Please see the attached flyer for more information.

Beginning March 1, 2012, schools in the Simi Valley Unified School District will begin new student registration for the upcoming school year. This early registration will assist us in determining the number of children to expect next fall.  (If you have a child currently enrolled, it is not necessary to re-register). Please share this information with your neighbors.

Office hours for Registration are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Please bring the following information when you register your child:

1. Original birth certificate or legal evidence of birthdate
2. A document which confirms your address (current utility bill, bank statement, etc)
3. Your child’s Social Security number
4. Current immunization records.

The following information is required to complete the registration process:

1. Verification of CHDP physical examination or Waiver of Health Examination

required for Kindergarten and 1^st grade.

1. Oral Health Assessment required for kindergarten.

Please note:  In order to be eligible for kindergarten next year, your child must be five (5) years old on or before November 1, 2012.
